Thank you for your interest in our horses for sale! We hope to have the opportunity to work with you and help you find the perfect horse or pony for your needs. We receive many inquiries about our horses and ponies, along with requests to come and view what we have available.

Appointments to see our horses are limited and reserved only for serious potential buyers. Our horses sell quickly, so if you are very interested in a particular horse, we encourage you to consider placing a refundable deposit.

Due to our busy schedule with the horses and the large number of people who want to “try” multiple horses, we now require a 40% refundable deposit on the horse you’d like us to hold before scheduling an appointment. This deposit can always be transferred to a different horse if you find another you fall in love with, and it is refundable in the unlikely event the horse isn’t suitable for you when you arrive.

We do not hold horses or turn down a sale to another buyer without both a deposit and a signed agreement.

Payment Options:

  • Preferred: Bank Wire Transfer and Cash.

  • Also accepted: Zelle, Chime and Apple Pay.

  • Cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin, Ethereum, USDT, USDC, and others are accepted.

  • Personal checks are accepted, but please note: horses cannot be picked up for two weeks to allow the check to clear

  • We do not accept cashier’s checks or money orders.

Once you’ve chosen a horse or pony, we will email you a Sale Agreement to sign and return. Most customers prefer a bank wire transfer as it is fast, secure, and allows us to schedule shipping sooner, without waiting on an out-of-state check to clear.

At Silver Trails Stables, we work hard to match every rider with the right horse. In rare instances where the match isn’t ideal, we will gladly work with you to resolve the issue. If a change is necessary within the first 90 days, we offer a full refund or a suitable replacement horse based on your preference.
