Hi! I Just wanted to give you an update on sweet Atti. She is doing amazingly well and we are so in love with her! She is seriously as sweet as a kitten. When Atti first came, she was a bit fidgety and unsure of what her job was. When I was looking at Atti at your place, I asked Amy what she would change about Atti if she could.. she said she’d want her to improve on her showmanship skills because she doesn’t like to stand still. Well, I can report that Atti stands quietly in the crossties now, and she is coming along very well in showmanship too! She still likes to be very ‘in your pocket’ but she has learned about personal space and knows when to stand quietly. She is so super mellow and kind, just the sweetest pony. Nothing shakes her- not even when we did jousting with pool noodles at the kid’s last Pony Play Day. Waving those noodles around and jousting didn’t bother her a bit. She is definitely a barn favorite. She has many years to grow with our family, as our youngest daughter is a tiny 5-year-old. Just wanted to say thanks for a wonderful pony, and it’s nice that she’s drop-dead gorgeous too.

I purchased Scott from Silver Trails Stables Horses. He has been a great addition to my herd. He is such a great horse that you can get him amped up to work a cow and then quickly come down and be so calm. I was at a cow clinic with him this past weekend and he was chilling by the side of the arena when some fence panels that were leaning against the arena crashed down very close to where he was standing. He never moved. I almost wondered if he heard it. Other horses and cows all side stepped and darted away but Scott stood and never moved from where we had left him -he was only ground tied by the way. Was looking for a pony for my grandkids. After about 6 months of searching, we came upon the ad for Applesauce. We have been competing, buying and selling horses for 40 years so I knew exactly what I was looking for. Luke was very honest and forthcoming. The 5 year POA we purchased was all she said and more. He has had everyone from my 2 year old granddaughter to a 70 year old woman riding him and everything in between. He was trained as a ranch pony and in 3 months we had him jumping 2’9” courses. We bought Lily over two years ago to be a little bit of an everything family horse. She is gentle, kind and always willing to please. I thought she would be mostly for my daughter but she now is my favorite go to horse for a bareback ride through the orchards after a long work day. I bought Rocky from Silver Trails Stables Horses, I honestly can not say enough good things about him! He’s the kind of horse that makes you never want to ride another but him! He has the best personality and is the most fun to be around!

My husband and I live in a very congested, noisy, city type of environment and we keep our horses at home. To get to our trails, we have to ride along a four lane highway and past several stores, coffee shops, etc…. Luke Kellogg were up to the challenge and when I inquired about Coco, they thought that although he is only 5, he would fit my wishlist. When I tried Coco in Arizona, Luke was kind enough to haul him into Wickenburg so that I could “test ride” Coco down the city streets. I am happy to say that we have had Coco home for four days and he has already been out on our trails twice. He is the ultimate professional, and is taking all the noise and commotion in stride. I purchased Lin from Silver Trails Stables in Texas and just wanted to let you know that I took him out today after a month off and he was perfect! Luke spends countless hours training their horses. I wanted a no nonsense horse and that’s exactly what I got! He stands when I mount him, walks off quietly, is a pleasure to ride and loads in the trailer every time. My favorite is that Lin will move over to the mounting block for me to get on with a simple cluck. They were 100% transparent about him and were honest about exactly who he was as a horse. I knew after taking him home they had done all the hard work for me. His foundation was amazing and his mind is great. Our first summer together that horse packed me all over the high country hundreds of miles. Because of where these colts are raised and the foundation given to them, they are in my opinion the top-notch ranch horses around.

I just wanted to say thank you again for Indi! We switched barns last weekend and i was ready for him to be excited and hard to handle at a new place and for my other two to be really relaxed. well what i thought was exactly the opposite!! the other two were crazy and Indi just found the grass in his paddock and started eating while the other two ran around bucking and rearing showing off for the mares. he is so perfect and everything i ever wanted! i rode him two days after we got to the new barn to give him a chance to settle in, but i'm sure i could've ridden him the first day he was so good. we didn't have any issues riding and he was perfect (as always). i am so grateful and i love him so much! Hi! I just wanted to send you a note to thank you once again for suggesting Blake to me. He is such a wonderful horse and has a terrific personality. It is hard to believe that he is so mature even though he is only four years old. Now that I am mostly recovered from my injures and back to riding, I have been taking him to some local shows. This weekend we got four firsts and one second. Blake is such a quick learner - once he sees something just once or twice he becomes a pro at it. I am planning on starting to work with him on reining again and also on trail riding. One of his best traits is his versatility. He is also the easiest horse to catch in the pasture - when he hears my voice he runs across the pasture and stands at the gate for me. Harrison is so unique (and smart) and he is a joy to have as part of our family. We will be back to see you someday for a "husband horse". We just bought some acreage in Luling so that we can have our horses live with us when we retire. So, if you come across an exceptional trail horse with "more whoa, than go" that would be a great beginner horse, please let me know.

I would recommend the Silver Trails Stables for anyone looking to get a horse – Luke made importing easy and fun for me! After searching in the Canada for three years and being unable to find a talented well-bred youngster under saddle within my budget to replace my retired dressage horse, several horses on the Silver Trails Stables website caught my eye. I found Luke Kellogg to be extremely knowledgable, transparent and friendly. Luke had impressive contacts all over and he was able to show me dozens of youngsters. The depth of the quality and quantity of sale horses exceeded my wildest expectations. First of all let me apologize for taking so long to write and let you know how happy we are with our amazing "DUKE". There are no words to adequately describe the joy he has brought to me and our family. After a bad riding accident, it was very important for me to find a horse that would be tolerant of my imperfections, with a kind disposition. If you remember we came to you in search of a smaller horse...but we were attracted to Luke .....like love at first sight. I remember the day we met him like it was yesterday. We let our son Riley try him out first. It was unbelievable. All 59 pounds of our fourth grader connected with him immediately as they had a great ride. I remember my turn: still a bit unsteady I climbed in the saddle. Luke had no problems dealing with my out of shape posting and weak seat at the canter. We continue to have a wonderful relationship with this awesome horse. He has the perfect disposition for us. He loves to be ridden almost as much as he loves to share our gatoraide!!! Yes, that has become a special treat for him along with his cookies, apples, and carrots. Riley has even shown him in a local A show and placed eighth on the flat in a rather large class. Riley will begin showing him more this spring. Like his full name "THE DIVERSIFIED DUKE" implies...this beautiful equine is just an all round splendid animal and we feel so blessed that he is now part of our family. As much I love riding him...I have a feeling my son will be taking him over...which means we will probably be calling you soon to find another great horse and good friend for Duke!

Hello Mr, Kellogg hope everything is good over there. I just wanted to let you know that I absolutely adore Bronie. She is exactly what I have been looking for for a very long time. She is one of the kindest, sweetest horses I have ever owned, we adore her! She lives nicely during the day in a 2 acre pasture and we tuck her in at night in a warm cozy barn. Hello Luke, I cannot tell you how much this horse means to me just seven months later. He is everything you advertised and so much more. Hugh and I spent most of the summer months getting to know one another in the arena. We recently started trail riding with friends and Hugh is by far the most bombproof horse I have ever had the pleasure to ride. I recall you sharing with me that you would trust Hugh on a three-lane highway at rush hour and, I admit, I doubted you but he has proven himself to be solid, trustworthy and safe. We were on the shoulder of a busy road just this past Friday and he never even flinched. He takes good care of me in any situation. Best of all is the fact that Hugh is affectionate, sweet and gentle. You told me he would wait for me at the gate and you were right. While our other horses run in the other direction when they see us haul out the saddles or hitch up the trailer, Hugh is always eager for attention and ready to do whatever is asked of him. Hugh is my once-in-a-lifetime horse and worth every penny I paid for him.

You found the PERFECT match for my daughter! Jack is everything you said he would be AND MORE.
