Hero is a 7 year old HANDY broke and SAFE gelding for the whole family. He has a phenomenal handle thanks to working a ranch in all aspects including doctoring and loading cattle trucks. Hero can get around and cut one off like a 14 hand cow pony and isn’t afraid to reach down and bite a momma cow that gets too rowdy. Hero has started on the head side as well. He has been ridden by all ages and hauled on barrels by a youth. The video we have of barrels is less than ideal because that arena isn’t deep enough to really let them work.

You can see he knows them and is very automatic especially in the bridleless video though. Hero is quiet on the ground, easy to catch, good in a herd or stalled, easy keeper, and loves baths! He even likes his face sprayed and will sometimes nuzzle you when you’re scrubbing him down to say thank you. This guy has such a cool personality and is always game for whatever the day has in store.

Hero rides in town, doesn’t get hot in any situation, quiet in the alley way, working cows, and right after breezing through the pasture after a runaway cow. He loves kids and is very careful of little toes. I wish I could lay a fault on this horse so he doesn’t seem too good to be true but I just really can’t. He loads, stands tied, is good for the vet and farrier. Hero rides with just a halter or even bareback and bridleless. You can pony colts on him and step on and off both sides. He stands next to a mounting block and has been ridden English but he isn’t a fan of jumping formal jumps. He will pop over logs out in the field though.
