King would be fun to go show in the Ranch Riding and Versatility classes. He is very easy and adaptive to all situations, new obstacles and new places. King rides out of the trails like a dream. He willingly goes through running water, rocky terrain, and is sure footed going up and down the mountains. King is always gentle to ride and easy to handle even with substantial time off. He is an “old soul” in a young body. He enjoys attention and affection. He will meet you and the gate and follow you around like a puppy dog. King is good around crazy dogs, blowing tarps, busy traffic, heavy machinery and loud gunfire. We have used him around our ranch and a great partner. He side passes easily to open and shut gates, stands ground tied, is confident outside alone and quiet in a group. He has a lot of natural cow and we have used him to sort cattle in pens and gather cattle out of the pasture. We have roped on him a little too.
